The only change that worries me is the proposal to move all emergency trauma cases requiring surgery to Shrewsbury. I appreciate that the road between Telford and Shrewsbury is a good one by Shropshire standards but it does get busy several times a day particularly where there are roundabouts. I would be interested to hear the justification for this proposal given that the figures quoted indicate that Telford's emergency surgery cases were over 80% of the number from Shrewsbury for the period used as a sample. This amounts to a significant number of people who would be placed at greater risk by a longer journey to get to their treatment.

I totally agree with you as i spent the weekend at the emergency with my som and waslucky to be seen as many people werebeing sent to Shrewsbury hospital which is not acceptable if you ahve an emergency then you need assistance ergently.
