The Telford Talks website is supported by Telford & Wrekin LINk. We are the local organisation that involves patients and the public in how health and social care services are run. We also gather information about patients' experiences and work to improve local health services using that knowledge. If you'd like to find out more check out our website or give us a call on 01952 614180.
Telford Talks is run by the Telford Talks Team. We are a group of community volunteers and staff from Telford & Wrekin LINk. We keep the site running smoothly, deal with any problems and give you support if you need it. We don't censor conversations but we do ask that you remember this is a public space open to people of all ages, so we will remove any unsuitable or offensive content. Hi - just joined having learned about you at public meedting last night. The Patients Association survey link doesnt appear to work - nor their phone number - mAYBE IT IS OUT OF DATE? Or maybe it is just my impatience and incompetence. A quick comment on bowel cancer services. Amongst my friends a couple have been found positive on their first screen at the age of 65 or above - sesm to me they need special support as the sevice started possibly too late for them. Terrible how the service was announced years ago but it only just starting for several people in several areas - perhaps the stats will show this and then find fewer positives once everyone is in the system.
